About Us

Hi, I’m Eliza, the heart and hands behind Joyit.

I’ve never been one to follow fashion trends, but I’ve always loved expressing myself through what I wear. Clothes reflect my personality, my mood, and my creativity—just like Joyit.

As a little girl, I didn’t play with dolls; I sewed clothes for them. I would sneak my mom’s needle and thread, find fabric scraps, and create tiny outfits. Later, I explored secondhand shops looking for unique pieces that allowed me to stand out. Fashion was always a way to express who I am.

For years, I worked in creative fields—acting, animation, and working with children—always searching for what truly made me feel alive. Then, one day, I found it. I sat in front of a sewing machine for the first time, and everything just clicked. I was in a flow state, completely immersed, and I knew this was it.

And why African fabrics?

I was born in Poland but felt something was missing. Moving to England opened my eyes to cultural diversity—it was like traveling the world without leaving one place. The first time I saw African fabrics, it was love at first sight. Their colors and patterns captivated me—they were full of life and energy.

That’s how Joyit was born—a brand that celebrates individuality, joy, and bold self-expression. Starting with oversized, kimono-style jackets made from vibrant African fabrics, Joyit is all about comfort, creativity, and embracing who you are.

More than just clothes,  Joyit is a passion for life.

I focus on what unites us, not what divides us. We all want to be happy, and colors bring joy.

So here I am—working with ideas, playing with fabrics, and creating pieces that make you feel good.

Let’s color the world together.

With love,

Eliza
